Connie’s Club Information
Hours:
7:00 am - 5:30 pm - Five days a week. Before and after regularly scheduled
classes.
11:30 am - 5:30 pm - On any half day throughout the year,
providing at least 8 children are in need of care and are prepaid for
the half day.
Fees:
$50.00 Registration fee per family/per year. Children may register for
one to five days a week. Space is reserved for contracted families in
good standing. Payment is due monthly, and is determined by the number
of days registered, not by the number of days attended.
Where:
"Connie's Clubs" room is located in the large motor skills
room just across the hall from the Preschool, Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten
rooms. We also go outside everyday if weather permits.
Ages:
Pre Kindergarten through Seventh grade; Eighth graders are always welcome
as upper-class counselors and helpers, or to earn service hours.
Absentees:
If your child will not attend a previously contracted day, there will
be no refunds. To ensure the safety of your child, please notify me
by note or phone if your child will not attend "Connie's Clubs"
on a certain day. If a child is absent, I will first check to see if
the child is ill; if not, parents will be called to check on the whereabouts
of the child. This will allow us to rest assured that our children are
cared for and where they should be.
Pick up times:
PM Club: Before 2:30 p.m., if not attending After-School Club. After-School
Club: Before 5:30 p.m. (through the main entrance).
Late Pick-up Charge:
$5.00 per each 5 minutes you are late, unless previously arranged.
Payment:
Must be in by the first of the month to ensure your child's continued
enrollment. "Connie's Clubs" are set up on a 9-month payment
schedule, September through May. (A 10% late fee will be added to your
bill if payment is not received by the 10th of each month.)
Philosophy:
I believe that before and after school hours should be relaxed, fun-filled,
and somewhat free for each child to enjoy his/her individuality. Children
should be able to choose what they would like to do, within reason,
of course. I believe in guiding and stimulating them, while teaching
self-control. I reserve the right to remove any child who is bothersome
or injurious to the group. Parents will be notified if problems become
persistent or unmanageable.
Discipline:
Removal from the group for short periods of time.
** We may request replacement of property if intentional or frequent damage occurs.
